What does USB-C PD mean?

Power Delivery (PD) is a protocol specification that allows for fast, flexible and safe charging. This technology allows a variety of devices to fast charge over a common USB-C connection and allows both to negotiate the most efficient and safe settings.

How fast is fast?

The Charge PD series utilizes both USB-C PD and also Quick Charge 3.0 protocols. That means you can charge at up to 18W using the type C port and up to 15w using the type A port. A standard USB port will only deliver 5W -- this means you can generally charge about three times faster using our powerbank.

What is the Charge 20 battery size in watt hours?

How long does it take to recharge Charge 20 PD?

Approximately 2 hours by 18W USB-C PD

Can I take Charge PD into cold environments?

Yes, the approved operating temperature of the Charge PD series is -4F to 104F (-20C to 40C).

Is Charge 20 PD waterproof?

No, we found most users are not charging sensitive electronics in rainy or wet conditions and like the easy access of the open port design. However, we do know that these can take a tumble out of a bag or off a table, so all Charge PDs are drop tested for real-world durability.

This was a gift I received, and of the several different charging banks (from differing manufacturers), I will say this is the nicest one so far. After being charged fully, it had plenty of power to charge up my insulin pump, taking the pump from 20% to 100% without the power pack showing it was drained in any way, yet. It was purchased for me so I can charge my pump while it is still in my pocket, which allows me to continue on with my day, and not be attached to an outlet or laptop as usual. It will accompany me in my pack on a regular basis!

I‘ve got the 20 and the 80 version. Loading my iPhone13 with 1,4A by USB and 1.8A by USB C. Capacity like in the manufactors description. Charge 20 for 1 to 1.5 times and Charge 80 for several loadings. Design and quality of the battery is quite well. The Charge 20 is a lightweight for the pocket, Charge 80 more heavier powercharge for seversl days. Best battery I own an absolutely recommended if you need powersupply!
