Came in very handy!

We live in the country and have had a few short power outages lately for some reason. The electricity was out a few mornings ago and I decided to break it out and fire it up to heat some water for tea and then to make some scrambled eggs. I just used sticks from the yard and it worked perfectly!I bought in cases of emergency since we have electric only in our house, but also to potentially have fun with our grandson. I made videos and posted them on my Facebook page. I have a number of friends now looking to buy one for their homes! I don’t think it could be easier to operate!! Love it! Actually turned my morning into an adventure!

"Tried this out the day it arrived. Made stir fried noodles. Pot and wok fit nicely and we just used some kindling that we use with our wood stove. Used it the next day with charcoal.Kindling or small pieces of wood or best for a quick cooking session. Charcoal is better for a longer cooking session or if you plan to put it out.Fast and easy set up and clean up. Heats up quick due to direct heat. Cast iron would be best as it is direct flame so your cookware will get scorched."

How do I start the fire?

Wood: Begin with a small base of sticks/kindling and gradually work your way up to larger pieces of wood once you have a coal bed | Charcoal: Top-load a few pieces of charcoal and light with kindling or paper.

Can I use my dutch oven with this? Other cookware?

Yes! Flat or round bottom pots, tea kettles, wire grill racks, skewers, dutch ovens all work with EcoZoom. Exercise caution when using large pots and always use a flat, stable surface.

What is the warranty?

2 years.

Does this produce electricity?

No, Versa does not produce electricity like the BioLite CampStove

Why is this called Ecozoom and not BioLite?

EcoZoom became a part of the BioLite family of products in 2019. We are thrilled to welcome its passionate and loyal community and kept the name so users could find their favorite stove quickly and easily. All orders, shipping, customer service, and warranty is now fulfilled by the BioLite team.

Can I use pellets with this stove?

We don't recommend it. Versa is a rocket stove design which means it is optimized for side fuel entry using logs, twigs, branches, etc. This enables you to control the size of your fire with easy fuel adjustment as well as create needed airflow for the improved combustion. If you are looking for a stove that is ideal for use with pellets, check out our BioLite CampStove which also offers a variety of cooking accessories and the added co-benefit of generating usable electricity from the heat of the fire.

Can I use this during a burn ban?

Parks vary by region and season, you must check with your local ranger for restrictions specific to your park and area. For parks with the strictest policies (safety first!) BioLite BaseCharge power stations can run electric cook tops, instant pots, blenders, and more - no flame.

Bought the stove about three months ago a week after I got it I took a couple of pinecones a small fire starter and some twigs cooked up 4 hamburgers in a matter of 10 minutes . When the country goes dark this is what you’ll need get prepared stay prepared you never know

Great Product and Customer service.

I love this thing. Have only cooked once on it so far but I am sure this will become a fixture in our home and camping setups. In full candor, the EcoZoom I ordered arrive a little damage to the interior ceramic. This issue was rectified quickly through their excellent customer service and a replacement is on its way. I was able to easily dismantle and repair the damaged ceramic. I cooked a dinner of Brussels sprouts and pan seared Halibut for dinner last night and am thrilled with how easy this was. My wife and I own several Bio-Lite products and have been very pleased with the ease of use, reliability and thoughtful design in each instance. Great company, products and customer service. Highly recommend.

Fabulous stove!

We bought this for our son as he is an avid outdoorsman. On a Christmas Day, we all enjoyed some hot chocolate on our property with snow falling around us. Easily transported, the stove was exactly as described and worked flawlessly. A great addition for any hunter, camper or outdoorsman to use. May even come in handy during power outages!
