Features

Pro Feature: Constant Mode

Most headlamps dim over time to conserve battery as your eye adjusts. You can override this with Constant Mode and maintain the exact brightness you want.

Pro Feature: Run Forever Cord Included

This 3ft charging cable makes it easy to connect to a power bank in a vest or backpack for extended runtimes.

Pro Feature: Pass Thru+ For Cold Environments

In extreme cold, connect to an external power bank which can bypass the internal battery completely and keep you lit.

Bright With a Burst of Mega Bright (it’s Bright).

30 second burst mode delivers 800 lumens of massive illumination.

8 Hour Reserve Mode

HeadLamp 800 will give you multiple warnings of a low battery then switch to 8 hours of low mode so you’re never left in the dark.

Fits Helmets Too

Adventure awaits.

The most comfortable headlamp you'll ever wear.

Traditional headlamps have a physics problem, it’s why they often end up around your neck. BioLite’s 3D SlimFit Construction solves this by integrating electronics directly into the band to create a single unit that moves with you. The result? A wearable that’s truly wearable.

Flush Front That Won't Slip On You

Moisture-Wicking Fabric & No Abrasion Points

Balanced, Nearly Weightless Feel

Pro Feature: Constant Mode

Most headlamps auto-regulate lumens to conserve battery life, quietly dimming over time as your eye adjusts to darkness. This works out efficiently in a lot of cases, but shouldn’t be the only mode available for dealing with technical terrain or pitch darkness.

Constant Mode puts you in complete control of your lumens, enabling you to set a steady level of brightness that will not dim – unless you tell it to, of course.

FAQs

What is the color temperature of the HeadLamp 800 Pro? How about the CRI?

5700 for spot and flood. 90 CRI for flood, 70 CRI for spot.

Can I use this in the rain?

Yes, HeadLamp 800 Pro is IPX4 Storm Safe. You can do pretty much anything except swim with it (aka don't submerge it under water)

How do I clean the HeadLamp 800 Pro?

The headband of HeadLamp can be hand-washed with a mild detergent or dish soap and water. We recommend dampening a sponge and wiping down the inside of the band.

Why is Constant Mode special?

Most headlamps dim over time to conserve battery as eyes adjust to the dark. It's a good efficiency mechanism, but sometimes you need to maintain full brightness no matter what: constant mode overrides that programmed dimming curve so that you can keep your headlamp at the lumens you need and not worry about any loss of brightness.

Does this headlamp feature a lock mode?

Yes, press and hold for 8 seconds and it with flash twice. Now it won't turn on accidentally in your pack or transit. To unlock, press and hold for 8 seconds again.

Why is Pass-Thru+ charging helpful in extreme cold?

In extreme cold, batteries can brick and not accept a charge in or out. Pass-Thru+ charging enables an external power source (like the Charge 20 powerbank) to bypass HeadLamp's internal battery completely and go straight to powering the light. This means you can keep the powerbank close to your body, using your own heat to keep the battery operational, run the Run Forever Cord up to the HeadLamp, and keep shining no matter how cold it gets.

Excellent lightweight headlamp!

If you want a truly high-performance headlamp that is ultralight and rechargeable look no further. You get up to 800 lumens. If you need to trek that mountain, or maybe you are night hiking back to base camp after a long day of hunting or even a late pack out this is the light for you! It weighs only 5.3 oz and doesn't bounce when you need a steady beam hiking up that mountain trail. Stop searching you found the right headlamp!

Best headlamp I've ever owned!

Over the past 40+ years in the outdoors, I have had a LOT of headlamps. The 800 Pro is without question, the very best one I've ever had. The fit is great. It is comfortable and stays put. The various beam and color options are handy. The battery life is very good, even in the very cold weather I'm using mine in (-20F to +15F). The bright white light keeps me safe as I'm hiking out onto lakes in the dark. While I have not ran the battery down enough yet to need to plug it into one off my battery packs, that functionality is a huge added bonus. Multi-day trips will be no issue being able to plug in on the go. Based on my experience with this light, I'll be purchasing some of the smaller models for family members and will recommend them to friends.
